JFH skipping ropes are made from a very high quality, white, rubberized PVC cord with tough unbreakable plastic handles.
These skipping ropes do not kink or deform when tied. The PVC cord has a very soft feel and can tolerate extreme temperatures. The cord will not snap when stretched to double its length upon heating, or when used in very cold climates.
